About EOD/LIC

Organization

EOD/LIC operates as a program element under the Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO).

EOD/LIC organizational chart

Focus Areas

EOD/LIC focus areas represent major technical specialties within the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Special Operations Forces disciplines.

End User Support

EOD/LIC supports Joint Service EOD and Joint Service SOF by developing new technologies that are the vanguard for evolving threats. Program focus areas function to narrow technical specialties and service the special needs of each. Through the collective participation of the user community, including its International Partners, EOD/LIC mission success is ensured.

Program Funding

EOD/LIC receives the bulk of its funding from SOLIC & IC, however, because of the contributions made by other end user agencies to specific requirements overall funding is increased.

Product Transition to End Users

Rapid prototyping is an essential component of product development for EOD/LIC, but the ultimate goal is to transition products into the hands of EOD and SOF personnel, as well as other end users in the first responder community.

For more information about EOD/LIC product transition and commercialization visit the Technology Transition page at the CTTSO website.
